In simple words, a work permit is an official document that allows foreign nationals to take a job in a country. It is also called a work visa and works as a permission letter. It is issued after the procession of the complete process that is designed to identify, communicate, mitigate, and control risk in certain working conditions and environments according to the work status. 

The criteria for a work permit widely depend on the type of region one is migrating to. It also follows and forbids numerous eligibility criteria and requirements that one needs to compulsorily follow. The common among them includes owning a passport with certain defined validity, documentary proof of employment along with educational and work-experience proof.
